Leavers' destination schools for Eaton Square Prep pupils are one of 25 independent day and boarding schools, including Eaton Square Senior School in Mayfair, which now accounts for 50% of Year 6 graduates. The senior school is a destination for 13+/Common Entrance aspirants for boarding schools, as well as the school's own GCSE and A Level programmes. Up to 50% of pupils win scholarships and awards.
School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum with some additions and variations. It also includes PSHE, reasoning, French, Spanish. Cross-curricular projects for STEM (all years) and engineering in Years 5 and 6. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.
Specialist teachers for sport, music and languages, throughout, for art and DT from Year 2, and for most subjects from Year 5.
There are regular educational trips for all year groups, and visiting speakers. Residential trips from Year 3. There is a particular emphasis on public speaking and debating, and the school has as a TEDx licence.
School offers over 15 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and extra-curriculum. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in skiing, swimming.
Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Drama is integrated into other subjects, and is also part of the co-curriculum. All pupils learn an instrument in class and about half take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Four choirs, orchestra and six instrument ensembles. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
The school has outdoor learning sessions in London's parks, and has an Eco Schools Silver accreditation.
