Since the merger in 2020, Year 6 Quainton Hall leavers are now guaranteed a Year 7 place at John Lyon School. Other popular leavers' destination schools are the two Haberdashers' Aske's schools, Merchant Taylors School, or a grammar school.
School curriculum follows the National Curriculum and also includes PSHCE, reasoning, study skills, French. Outside literacy and numeracy, most subjects are taught through cross-curricular topics in pre-prep. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.
Specialist teachers for sport, music, art, drama and languages throughout, for English, maths, science, and computing from Year 3, and for most subjects by Year 5.
