The Beeston Hall School curriculum

School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum and the ISEB Common Entrance curriculum with some additions and variations. It also includes PSHEE, reasoning, classical civilisation, French, Latin. School has a cross-curricular ‘creative curriculum’ in pre-prep and a cross-curricular humanities programme in Years 3 and 4. Otherwise, subjects are taught separately. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.

Sport at Beeston Hall School

5 Games and 1 PE session per week. School offers over 20 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and an extensive extra-curriculum. Cricket and tennis academy. Each child represents the school in a team sport. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in hockey, sailing, shooting.

The Arts at Beeston Hall School

Art, music/theatre studies are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and 80% take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Three choirs, orchestra and 12 instrument ensembles. Each pupil may participate in up to 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
