School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum with some additions and variations. The Arts at Birkenhead School, Prep

Art, music and drama (from Year 5) are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and two-thirds take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Four year group choirs and an auditioned Chapel Choir, orchestra and one or two instrument ensembles. The school offers each pupil over 5 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.

Wraparound care

Wraparound care from 8.00am to 6.00pm. Nursery and pre-prep care is available for 50 weeks of the year.
