There are regular educational trips for all year groups, visiting speakers and residential trips from Year 4. The Cothill Educational Trust owns the Chateau (and Chaumière) de Sauveterre in South West France, for Years 4-6 to spend a long weekend or week of total cultural immersion. The Trust also owns an outdoor adventure/geography field trip centre in Dorset (The Old Malthouse) for Year 6 to spend a week.

Sport at Chandlings
School offers over 15 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and extra-curriculum. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in squash.
The Arts at Chandlings
Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and two-thirds take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Three choirs, orchestra and 8-10 instrument ensembles. Biennial music week. Each pupil may participate in up to 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
