Furze Platt Junior School is a state junior school for boys and girls (50%/50%) between the ages of 7 and 11 years. It is a community school. The school is federated with Furze Platt Infant School in the Furze Platt Primary Federation. The school was also rated as Outstanding by Ofsted in its last (2024) inspection.

The Furze Platt Junior School curriculum

School curriculum also includes PSHE, French. The curriculum is subject based, and ‘knowledge rich’ with skills developed within the subjects.
