The Arts at King's St Alban's
School educates the choristers of Worcester Cathedral. Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Drama is part of the English and co-curriculum. All pupils learn an instrument in class and 80% take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Two choirs (as well as the choristers), orchestra and several instrument ensembles. Classes in Years 3 to 6 create and perform their own musical or dance piece in Creative ConneXions Week. Each pupil may participate in up to 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs. Artsmark Gold accreditation.
