The Arts at St John's College, Junior & Infants

School educates the choristers of Cardiff Metropolitan Cathedral. Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Drama is part of the co-curriculum. All pupils learn an instrument in class and 80% take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Two choirs (in addition to the choristers), orchestra and one or two instrument ensembles. There are some extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
