The Arts at St Paul's Cathedral School
Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and all take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. 3 choirs (in addition to the choristers), two orchestras and 10 instrument ensembles. There are some extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.The school educates the choristers of St Paul’s Cathedral. The 32-36 choristers are professionally trained, with daily singing commitments, yet participate in a full school life as a boarder. Every day there is a morning and afternoon rehearsal, and a cathedral service.
