School educates the choristers of St Paul's Cathedral. The 32-36 choristers are professionally trained, with daily singing commitments, yet participate in a full school life as a boarder. Every day there is a morning and afternoon rehearsal, and a cathedral service.
School offers between 10 and 15 different sports over the course of the year. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in football.
Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and most take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. 3 choirs (in addition to the choristers), two orchestras and 10 instrument ensembles. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
No wraparound care as such, but with clubs, the school day runs from 8.10am to 5.00pm.
