The Swanbourne House School curriculum
School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum with some additions and variations. It is a ‘creative curriculum’ with cross-curricular linking for humanities, arts and computing to Year 4. In Years 7 and 8 the Pre Senior Baccalaureate is a skills-based curriculum to complement discrete subject teaching for core subjects. The curriculum also includes PSHE, French, Latin. ‘Saturday Enrichment Programme’ for Years 5 to 8, has replaced Saturday lessons and broadens the curriculum with new outdoor, practical, artistic, enterprise, and language activities.
