School curriculum follows the National Curriculum and the ISEB Common Entrance curriculum. It also includes PSHE, French, Latin. Specialist teachers for sport, music, languages, art, DT, drama, science and computing throughout, and for all subjects from Year 4.
There are regular educational trips for all year groups, and visiting speakers. A comprehensive programme of residential trips for all boys from Year 3 to 8. Friday afternoons are for 'Activities' encouraging participation in the extra-curriculum.
Sport accounts for 20% of curricular time. School offers over 15 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and extra-curriculum. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in cross country, fencing, football, golf, skiing, swimming.
Art, music, and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Three choirs, orchestra and one or two instrument ensembles. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
There is no formal wraparound care. The school day is from 8.45am to 4.00pm, though clubs, including Homework Club, can extend the day to 5.00pm.
