Adcote School for Girls, Prep is an independent prep day and boarding school for girls between the ages of 7 and 11 years. Boarding from Year 3 for the 10% of pupils who board. 90% are full boarders and 10% are weekly or flexi boarders. It is a Church of England school, open to all faiths and none. The school has a non-selective admissions policy. It is the junior division of Adcote School for Girls, an all-through school to age 18, and a member of the Ray Education Group. Adcote School for Girls, Prep fees are £4,500 per term (2024/25). Full boarding fees are £11,700 per term. Fees exclude VAT and lunches.

The Adcote School for Girls, Prep curriculum

School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum and also includes PSHE, Spanish. Curriculum and co-curriculum designed to achieve CLEAR outcomes in the girls; Confidence, Leadership, Engagement, Achievement and Resilience. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.

Sport at Adcote School for Girls, Prep

School offers between 10 and 15 different sports over the course of the year. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in gymnastics.

The Arts at Adcote School for Girls, Prep

Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and half take extra-curricular instrument lessons. Three choirs, orchestra and several instrument ensembles. The school offers each pupil over 5 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
