All City Junior School pupils are expected to move seamlessly to the two City of London School or City of London School for Girls at the of Year 6. There is no entrance exam for City Junior School pupils.
School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum but also includes PSHCEE, French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Latin. The school offers a handful of extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.
Specialist teachers for sport, music and languages throughout, and for most subjects from Year 5.
The curriculum is broadened by two to four options per year including orchestra, debating, creative arts, philosophy, entrepreneurship, history of art, and Greek mythology. There are also educational trips, visiting speakers, and residential trips from Year 4.

No wraparound care as such, but with clubs, the school day can run from 8.00am to 5.00pm.
