It is the junior division of Croydon High School, an all-through school to age 18, and is a member of the Girls’ Day School Trust. The Croydon High Junior School curriculum

School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum with some additions and variations. It also includes PSHE, reasoning, French, Latin. Distinctive ‘Enterprise Technology’ curriculum encourages pupils to be designers of, rather than users of, technology. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs. In recent years the school has enjoyed national tournament success in science.

Sport at Croydon High Junior School

School offers between 10 and 15 different sports over the course of the year. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. School Games Mark Gold accreditation.

The Arts at Croydon High Junior School

Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and half take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Three choirs, two orchestras and one or two instrument ensembles. Each pupil may participate in up to 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
