The Edgbaston High Preparatory School curriculum

School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum and also includes PSHE, reasoning, French, Spanish, Latin. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs. In recent years the school has enjoyed national tournament success in Apparently ‘Edgbaston Prep is the only school in country to receive two gold medals for top ten places in Junior Language Challenge’.

Sport at Edgbaston High Preparatory School

School offers PE and up to 10 seasonal sports. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in swimming.

The Arts at Edgbaston High Preparatory School

Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Drama is part of the co-curriculum. All pupils learn an instrument in class and up to half take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Two choirs, orchestra and four instrument ensembles. The school offers each pupil over 5 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
