Religious Education accounts for 10% of curriculum time. There is collective worship and prayer, and observance of Catholic celebrations. Pupils are also prepared for the Holy Sacraments. There is cross-curricular learning throughout the school to reinforce the learning behaviours and skills development philosophy characterised as the 'Leweston Learner'. The school offers a handful of extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.
Specialist teachers for sport, music, languages, art and computing throughout, and for most subjects by Year 5.
There are regular educational trips for all year groups, and visiting speakers. Residential trips from Year 5. Every year group has a Forest School session every week.
School offers between 10 and 15 different sports over the course of the year. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in shooting.
Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and two-thirds take extra-curricular instrument lessons from Year 3. Choir and some instrument ensembles. The school offers a handful of extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
