Ludgrove School is an independent boarding-only prep school for boys between the ages of 8 and 13 years. All are full boarders. It is a Church of England school, open to all faiths and none. The school has a non-selective admissions policy. It is a standalone prep school, not tied to any one senior school. Full boarding fees at Ludgrove School are £11,100 per term (2023/24).

The Ludgrove School curriculum

School is one of the 50 prep schools with the most extensive sports offers in the UK. Competitive teams in major sports from Year 3. In recent years the school has enjoyed national success in athletics, cross country, football, rugby.

The Arts at Ludgrove School

Art and music are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. Pottery and CDT feature on the arts curriculum from Year 4. Drama is part of the English and co-curriculum. All pupils learn an instrument in class and two-thirds take extra-curricular instrument lessons. Three choirs and several instrument ensembles. The school is one of the top 50 UK prep schools for the breadth of its creative and performing arts extra-curriculum.
