The LVS Ascot Infant & Junior School curriculum
School curriculum is based on the National Curriculum with some additions and variations. It also includes PSHE, reasoning, Spanish. Foundation subjects are taught thematically throughout, and the curriculum is underpinned by the school’s ‘Learning Values and Skills’. The Infant & Junior School Diploma broadens the curriculum to new skills and community service for two lunchtimes per week. In Years 5 and 6 pupils learn project management and public speaking skills through Think, Explore, Discover (TED) projects. It is a Microsost Showcase School to reflect the high degree of integration of digital learning in the curriculum. The school offers each child a handful of extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.
