Having been based within the senior school building for two years, most Primary 7 pupils graduate to Lomond School.
School curriculum is guided by the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence and also includes PSHE, French. The school offers a handful of extra-curricular academic activities or hobby clubs.
Specialist teachers for sport, music and drama throughout, for languages, art, DT and computing from Primary 6, and for all subjects other than maths and English from Primary 7.
There are regular educational trips and outdoor learning sessions for all year groups, as well as visiting speakers. Residential trips from P6.
School offers over 15 different sports through the year, through both the curriculum and extra-curriculum. Representative teams in major sports from Primary 3.
Art, music and drama are taught as discrete curricular subjects to all pupils. All pupils learn an instrument in class and some take extra-curricular instrument lessons from P3. Two choirs and some instrument ensembles. The school offers each pupil between 5 and 10 different extra-curricular creative and performing arts clubs.
